San Antonio, Tx was named for the Portuguese Saint Anthony of Padua, whose feast day it was (June 13) when a Spanish expedition stopped in the area in 1691. San Antonio hosts over 100,000 students across its 31 higher-education facilities which include: Trinity University, University of Texas at San Antonio, Our Lady of the Lake University, St. Mary's University, and Wayland Baptist University.
