Ben Nighthorse Campbell were able to secure a Proclamation from the U.S.Congress proclaiming Pueblo, Colorado as the "Home of Heroes". Pueblo, Colorado was once an early colonial settlement called Fort Pueblo and was inhabited by settlers and renegade Indians. The infamous Rockefellers developed the many steel mills that reside here in Pueblo, along the riverside.
The small but bustling city of Pueblo hosts the annual Colorado State Fair, complete with rides and games for the family but many other attractions also make Pueblo, CO a great little place to live. The city also contains a zoo, a state park, a history and a children's museum, as well as a local library, a Starbucks, and Colorado State University, where many college students reside.

The population of Pueblo is approximately 102,121 and is located in southern Colorado along Interstate 25, south of Colorado Springs.
