What criteria do you screen for?
Our matching databse is designed to identify people that will potentially be most compatible with you and your lifestyle choices.
The matching program includes the following criteria: gender, age, children, couple status, smoking, pets, sexual orientation, number of roommates, amenities, price range, general location, property type.
We do not match based on personality traits, since some people's idea of, for instance, cleanliness could differ from the next person. However you will be able to put all of this information into your roommate profile ie smoker, couch potato, active. This way people can see that you enjoy the same activities as you.
In accordance with fair housing laws, we do not screen roommates for race, color, national origin, religion, familial status, or disability.
"Our experience from start to finish exceeded our expectations. Should we have further need we would immediately turn to Roommate Shop, and I would unreservedly recommend Rommate Shop to others in need of housing."
