Although it is always your choice who you want to choose as your new roommate, RoommateShop can help make that choice easier. For a fee of $50.00 we will run a full background check on a potential roommate. This service is for anyone who is already a RoommateShop customer or open to the public. This background check includes:

-Credit check----> to make sure that your new roommate will be reliable to pay the bills and rent on time
-Employment Verification----> to make sure your new roommate has the means to pay the bills and rent
-Rental History----> to make sure their previous landlords would re-rent to them, verify their previous rent amount, see if they were late on rent payments, and to see if they caused any significant damages to the property
-Criminal History----> to check their full background in criminal history

No one checks them closer! Know what you're getting into with a new roommate. We will return the results within 3 business days. It's easy: Print out the application, have your new roommate fill out the application and sign the bottom, and pay the fee. Once you've faxed (or mailed/dropped off) the application and paid the fee we will run the credit check and return the results by fax, mail, or email within 3 business days (Usually the process takes less than 3 days if accurate information is give)!
