How do I make changes to my profile?

First login into your account using the username and password you signed up with. Once you've done this you should be in "your profile" screen. You should see two rows of green tabs accross the top of the screen. The first row has "edit:" on the left side and following are the tabs with "Place", "People", and "Photos" on them. By choosing any of these tabs you will have access to the information others see. You can edit anything that your originally put into the site. Make sure that after you've made all your change you click on the "Save Changes" button (gray and usually halfway down the page.)

I've joined RoommateShop® and now I'm lost on what to do?

It's easy

You can start by checking your email to see if you've received any new exact roommate matches. This is where you will find all these roommate matches that will work best for what information you've provided us. Once you've looked through your exact matches you can contact them by either email or phone (whichever they have provided for potential roommates). They will also have your contact information so don't be surprised if they contact you first.

You may also want to look through your 'near' and 'distant' roommate matches if you are a flexible roommate. You can do this by logging into your RoommateShop® account.

We encourage you to contact all potential roommates. You can learn more about the possible roommate, and make the process easier.

What happens after I join?

You can start searching for roommates as soon as you sign up. We will email you instantly with every new exact match!
